To start with, we created this 2-minute teaser video for Business First Magazine and the Matchroom Sport website (full article). The piece trails the main points of the magazine interview with chairman Barry Hearn. We really enjoyed working with this promotional legend (we love the numbers too!) It was a 2-hour shoot, and a day edit and around half a day pre-production.


Matchroom Sport is one of the world’s largest sports promoters and programmers. They organise television sports events and work with virtually every major sports broadcaster in the world. Their exuberant chairman Barry Hearn commands considerable attention in the sports industry. The challenge was to capture his views and promote online an interview for Business First magazine.

Our aim was to film the magazine's interview session to build internet reach and interest in the article.


We created a teaser video. With over 45 minutes of vivid anecdotes from the interview, we had much to work with. Barry spoke with wit and candour. Then we overlayed a few stills and animations to underscore his main points, and finally we added phrases from the article.
