Pure Retirement is the second-largest UK-based mortgage lender specialising in the equity release market. Their multi-award winning services were ranking high in the industry's standings on levels of human service. They needed to reflect that more in their client and broker-facing marketing.
Our task was to create a suite of promotional videos that would position their firm as service leaders, intent on human support.
We developed key themes of humanism and consistency throughout the entire organisation, in collaboration with the management team in workshops. We wanted to create a feeling of warmth and human understanding, of unadorned reality and truthfulness. This would help the firm position as people-focused equity release experts. We wanted to showcase the depth of human understanding in this unusual service. We also wanted to let the client-facing staff tell their stories, not just the seniors in the business. Finally, we wanted all of this to appeal to brokers as well as direct customers.
With those goals in mind, we filmed a suite of videos for web and social use. We took viewers behind the scenes, and allowed staff of all levels to explain their warm ethos and their attention to the customer's particular needs and issues. It was a one-day shoot, a ten-day edit and approximately two days of pre-production.
Filmed in Leeds, we coached both seniors and juniors alike on camera and helped the whole company tell its beautiful, supporting story.
Our client was thrilled with the videos, and it has enabled them to attract customers. The videos were placed on their website and on social media, where it has helped significantly increase enquiries.
